The Centre has initiated a series of gatherings to celebrate the visionary support of our Encore Bequest Circle members and raise awareness about one of the best ways that anyone can support the long-term sustainability of the Centre’s diverse, expansive music program – leaving a gift to the Centre in a Will.
On March 28, following a masterful concert by Inventi Ensemble, guests of the Encore Bequest Circle came together in the Salzer Suite, joined by the musicians, to share their passion for music with like-minded aficionados of the Centre and its program.
Inaugural Encore Bequest Circle Patron and the Centre’s Founding Chair Jim Cousins AO shared the story of his long history with the Centre, and the vision he and his wife Libby, also an Inaugural Patron, have for the role bequest circle members can play in the future of music at the Centre.
It was a wonderful afternoon of conversation and shared commitment that will make a real difference to music in Melbourne for generations to come. You can enjoy the event photos below and learn more about why another of our wonderful bequest donors, former CEO Mary Vallentine AO chooses to give in this way here.
Upcoming Encore Bequest Circle events will take place in July and September and we’d be delighted to have you join us.
