June has flown by, with many Learning and Access events across the state, reaching a number of people with barriers to access.
Share the Music (Ticket and Transport Subsidy)
This month we welcomed a range of organisations and individuals to both Elisabeth Murdoch Hall and the Salon;

Music Always
Inventi Ensemble embarked on a two week Music Always tour throughout Victoria with a delightful program of works, complemented by letters from the composers themselves. Performances were held in partner venues in Boronia, Caulfield, Chadstone, Geelong, Euroa, Altona, Footscray, and Wangaratta.
Charity Tickets
Melbourne Recital Centre concert tickets featured in several silent auctions across the state, supporting the following organisations;
Accelerando
Accelerando artists were treated to a captivating workshop on June 23 with Ben Opie and Thea Rossen, focused on the concept of ‘Musicians for Change’. The group was challenged to create an outreach program focused around music and their community.
Bach Competition
A huge congratulations to each of the 10 participants of the Bach Competition on 17 June, especially the prize winners;
Richard Mills Prize – Dandan (Jingfei) Wang (violin)

Encouragement Award – Zhihan Jiang (piano)
Australian Bach Society Award - Marcus Michelson (violin)
Newsboys Foundation Regional Music Award – Patricia Thompson (trumpet)
