Learning & Access Update

June has flown by, with many Learning and Access events across the state, reaching a number of people with barriers to access.

Share the Music (Ticket and Transport Subsidy)

This month we welcomed a range of organisations and individuals to both Elisabeth Murdoch Hall and the Salon;

  • Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School - 10 guests for 1 event
  • CBM Australia (working with people with disabilities) - 6 guests for 1 event
  • Calvary Care (aged care and assisted living) – 8 guests for 4 performances
  • Wintringham (aged care and assisted living) – 40 guests for 1 performance
  • Father Bob Maguire Foundation (homelessness and children at risk) – 12 guests for 2 performances

‘I cannot believe that such a wonderful program is available for our Elders. Most residents here just love classical music. It really is food for the soul.’ Baptcare

Music Always

Inventi Ensemble embarked on a two week Music Always tour throughout Victoria with a delightful program of works, complemented by letters from the composers themselves. Performances were held in partner venues in Boronia, Caulfield, Chadstone, Geelong, Euroa, Altona, Footscray, and Wangaratta.
